Rawdon Old Boys Sunday AFC
Lets begin, the team we are now was formed a few years ago when Bully and Allan were in charge. This was three years for the ex-Town gaffer, after a long hard season he had decided to call it a day.Bring on the new manager, Richard Lane he is treating us all to a lesson in fitness and as for football I think we have forgotten what one of them looks like as we don't get to play with them very often. it's like a rare treat for us. This said if we are fit then we should be able to keep going for the 90 minutes on a Sunday. As we are now in League 1 of the Wharfedale Triangle league this season may see us compete against some tough opposition, however if we have the belief and guts to fight on the pitch (and not with each other) then this season will be a good season for all. Our home games are usually played on a Sunday morning at Hanson Field, Rawdon behind the Emmott Arms, with an 11am KO. After the match, the team drinks in 'The Old Kings Arms' in Horsforth.
